Our own Red River has been voted the best ski town in North America for 2021, putting the tiny little mountain town on the national map.
This designation didn’t come easy, with serious competition during the four weeks of voting. Now the town and ski community can officially bask in the glory and celebrate.
Editors from USA Today and 10Best.com, along with visitors, expert contributors, and other sources within the Gannett media network, decided on the winner.

Red River was voted #1 from criteria that included “convenient access to the slopes, fantastic restaurants, bars and shops, topped off by great accommodations and a cool small-town vibe and/or a historical atmosphere.” Red River checked all these boxes. Our proud locals and loyal guests take pride in their love for Red River, and it sent us to the top.
