In our June issue, in an article entitled “Taos Democrats Gather”, we mistakenly identified candidate Brian Colon, NM State Auditor, as the current Attorney General. He was running in the primary for Attorney General. We apologize for any confusion.

Taos Democrats running for local and state offices gathered at the John Dunn Shops area in Taos on the sunny afternoon of May 13. Among them were Zack Quintero (candidate for NM Auditor), Charlene Tsoodle-Marcus (candidate for Taos County Probate Judge), Brian Colon (current office-holder as New Mexico Attorney General), and Kristina Ortez (incumbent candidate for state House Representative in Taos). The gathering was a relatively spontaneous event, to correspond with attorney general candidate Raul Torrez’s meet-and-greet later that day. Torrez also made a brief appearance at the event.
