One Words Description: Lively
Coaching Philosophy: “Our coaching philosophy has always been Fun-then-Fundamentals. If soccer is fun, kids return, and fundamentals naturally follow. Helping children fall in love with the game of soccer is our goal. Wins and losses are forgotten, but the friendships, confidence, and love of the game last forever!”
Enjoys Most: “Coaching allows us to make a positive impact on young athletes both on and off the field. Nothing is more rewarding than watching a child gain confidence, learn a new skill, or leave with a smile.”
Hobbies: “Making memories with our family and friends! We enjoy making music and food and we value time together in our faith and other outdoor activities.”
Why It’s Important That the Program Continues: “Local youth programs build healthy, connected communities. We are grateful to the Taos Youth Soccer League, Questa Schools, and dedicated volunteers. We’re especially grateful to the Gonzales and MacDonald families for their many years of dedication to youth soccer. Seeing its positive impact on our community motivates us to coach. Interested in joining? Families can learn more and register at taosyouthsoccerleague.com.”
