Taos Feeds Taos To Kick Off Holiday Season With Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser

Taos Feeds Taos will kick off the 2026 holiday season with a pancake breakfast fundraiser Nov. 14 to support its efforts to assist families throughout Taos County.

The breakfast is scheduled from 8 to 10 a.m. at the Bent Lodge, 124 Camino de Santiago in Taos. Tickets cost $10 each.

Organizers said community support helps sustain the organization’s holiday assistance program. Last year, Taos Feeds Taos provided assistance to 1,200 households in Taos County during the holiday season.

Those unable to attend the fundraiser can make a contribution through the organization’s website. For more information, contact Ernestina Cordova at (575) 770-0681.

Taos Feeds Taos will accept applications for holiday food assistance by phone Nov. 16-18. Applicants should call (575) 613-8435 and are asked to call only once. Organizers said someone will return each applicant’s call.
The program serves Taos and surrounding areas, including Peñasco, Picuris, Amalia, Costilla, Questa and Cerro, according to the organization’s announcement.

Applicants should be prepared to provide the following information:

  • Proof of income for each household member, such as a pay stub or disability income documentation, including Veterans Affairs benefits.
  • The number of people in the household.
  • The last four digits of Social Security numbers.
  • A utility statement, such as an electric, gas or water bill, to verify physical and mailing addresses.

Qualified applicants will receive a grocery voucher by mail during the first week of December. The vouchers can be redeemed at Taos Super Save Grocery Store.
Voucher recipients can shop at Super Save Dec. 21-22 to receive a free ham. Vouchers expire at noon Dec. 24.
For application information, call (575) 613-8435 during the Nov. 16-18 application period.
