George E Cisneros a resident of Questa NM passed away unexpectedly at Presbyterian Medical Center in Albuquerque NM, surrounded by his loving family.

He is preceded in death by his parents Fred and Amelia Cisneros, his daughter Cindy Miera, his first wife Mary Martinez Cisneros, his second wife Judy Cater Cisneros, his brother Jake Cisneros, his sister Nina Rodriguez and his son-in-law Michael Chandler.

George is survived by his children JoAnn(Beck), Georgia(Levi), and Fred(Marilyn), and his son-in-law Leroy Miera, his grandchildren: Maria Cisneros, Becky Griego(Ernie), Lisa Cisneros, Kevin Cisneros(Nicole), Reyes Cisneros(Cinthia), Ernie Miera, JC Miera(Jade),Bryan Chandler(Cheri), Gabriel Chandler, and Eva Cisneros(Xiuy). He also leaves behind 14 great grandchildren: Josiah Griego(Faith), Mariah Griego(Jonathan), Urijah, Eliseo and Kinsley Griego, Andrew and Alivia Romero, Analea, Aubrey and Kevin Jr Cisneros, Jayla and Axel Cisneros, Cynthia Miera, and Teo Soto, 3 great great grandchildren: Sienna Griego, JD and Milani Dominguez. George also leaves behind his sister Mary Trujillo(Bill), Jerry Cisneros(Bernie), brother-in law Jim Rodriguez, and his Aunt Viola C de Baca(Larry). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

A rosary was recited on March 18, 2026 at 6:00 pm at Rivera Funeral Home in Taos NM. The funeral mass was held on March 19, 2026 at 10 a.m. at St Anthony’s church in Questa NM, with burial following at El Pueblito Cemetery in Questa NM.

The family of George E Cisneros has granted Rivera Family Funeral Home the honor of serving them.
