Joe (Teddy) Martinez was born in Questa, NM on Nov. 24, 1961 and died in his home in Questa on March 4, 2023.

He was preceded in death by his parents Trivinio and Ursula Martinez; and infant brother Floyd Martinez.
Joe is survived by his sons Joshua Martinez and Justin Martinez (Katrina); grandchildren Aalyiah, Jordyn, Skarlet, and Ezekiel Martinez. Joe was one of 12 children, Trudy Arellano Stewart, Carol Rael (Francisco), Clyde Martinez (Francella), Walter Martinez (Christine), Alan Martinez (Gloria), Dean Martinez (Nancy), Russell Martinez (Frances), Lorraine Montoya (Lawrence), Jeannie Baca (Michael) and Debbie Cisneros (Daniel). Joe had a special relationship with each of his siblings. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

The family is grateful for all the support from friends and community.
