Roy C. Abeyta, 69, was born in Arroyo Seco, New Mexico, on July 9, 1955. Roy passed away suddenly in the comfort of his own home on December 12, 2024.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jose Abeyta Jr. and Ofelia Abeyta, and his sister, Faviola Abeyta.
He is survived by his loving wife Karen Abeyta, daughters Roxanne (Dan) Jaecks, Josephine (Patrick) Gabaldon, Claudia Abeyta (Victor); sister Ida McCabe; brothers Archie Abeyta, Rudy (Margo) Abeyta, Alex (Eileen) Abeyta; grandchildren Stacy Johnson (Terrance), Kevin Johnson, Avery Jaecks, Zoe Gabaldon, Jayden Vigil, Cora Gabaldon, Brody Gabaldon, Ryan Torres, Kylee Torres, Ezra Torres; nieces Charlene Lucero, Gina Rael, Angela Abeyta, Maria Stafford, Linda Minkoff, and Jennifer Abeyta.

Pallbearers were: Zeke Tafoya, Charlie Rendon, Kevin Johnson, Jayden Vigil, Brody Gabaldon, Dan Jaecks, Patrick Gabaldon, Terrance Baca, Victor Torres, and Ryan Torres.

Public viewing was held Thursday, December 19, 2024 at The Good News Christian Fellowship Church in Ranchitos, NM. Memorial service and interment was at the Las Cruces Cemetery.
