Yolanda Catherine Archuleta, born in 1965, died on Nov. 14, 2025. Her life was marked by kindness, tenacity and an unyielding spirit that left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

Archuleta was more than a mother; she was a steady, protective presence who embodied both warmth and strength. She called her sons, Kenneth and Steven Archuleta, every day, a reflection of her unwavering love. Her dedication to family extended to her granddaughters, Jennie Marie, Nataliya and Emily, whom she nurtured with devotion. She was also a source of support and resilience for her siblings — Diana Duran, Michael Martinez, Manny Martinez (Wendy) and Marbella Leon — celebrating their joys and offering comfort in difficult times.

Her commitment to her community was evident in her generosity and her instinct to give. Known for her cooking, she never let anyone leave her home hungry. She especially loved holidays, decorating and hosting gatherings that brought family and friends together.

Archuleta also enjoyed adventure. She often took to the open road on her motorcycle, savoring the freedom of riding. She loved movies, especially crime thrillers, spooky stories and heartfelt Lifetime films.

Though she endured many hardships, she did not hold grudges. She faced challenges with toughness and grace, cherishing her family deeply. She was raised by Romulo and Juanita Martinez, whose influence shaped her nurturing, protective nature.
Her life taught others the value of showing up, loving deeply and finding joy in simple moments. Numerous nieces, nephews and friends will carry her memory and the kindness she shared.

A rosary is scheduled for Dec. 9, 2025, at 6 p.m. at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Questa. A Mass is scheduled for Dec. 10, 2025, at 10 a.m., followed by burial at San Pedro Cemetery.
