Questa del Rio News is excited to announce its newest media partner, LaVozColorado.
New Mexico native Pauline Rivera is the owner of LaVozColorado, in partnership with her husband, Henry. Pauline attended the Metropolitan State University of Denver, where she obtained a degree in journalism. She is the first female Latina in Colorado to own a media publishing company.
In 2016, she was voted Latina Publisher of the Year by the National Association of Hispanic Publications.
Previously, Rivera managed community affairs for the ABC affiliate in Denver, Denver7 News, for nearly two decades. She resides in Denver, Colorado, but remains deeply connected to her roots in Costilla, Amalia, and southern Colorado, often devoting extensive coverage to the underrepresented areas her ancestors called home.
Pauline and Henry have two adult children; Brandon, and Lina, and one grandson, Roman.
