Fans attending Questa Independent School District athletic events should be aware of rules designed to maintain a safe and fan-friendly environment, the district announced.
At games and other school venues, certain items are prohibited, including coolers, bottles, cans, cups, backpacks of any size, bags or purses larger than 9 by 12 inches, outside food and drinks, weapons of any kind, air horns, animals (except service animals), and banners, flags, poles, or projectiles. Diaper bags are allowed.
“QISD athletics supports a safe and enjoyable experience for all spectators,” the district said in a statement.
Other stadium rules apply to all attendees: bags are subject to search, tobacco and alcohol products are prohibited, e-cigarettes and vapes are not allowed, and oversized portable stadium seats or other objects that could impede safety or comfort, including heaters and fans—are forbidden. Abusive language will not be tolerated.
Elementary and junior high students must be accompanied by an adult, and parents and spectators are not allowed on the field or track.
All rules and enforcement are at the discretion of QISD administration, and officials’ decisions are final.
Fans are encouraged to review these guidelines before attending games to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all.
