Red River Massage Business Reports Burglary and Stolen Artisan Goods

Mountain Body & Mind LLC, a massage business in Red River, reported a burglary that occurred midday Aug. 8, during which several custom leather goods were stolen.

According to business co-owner Joy Stromberg, the incident happened between 12:15 and 1:30 p.m. in their establishment located in the Old Miners Building. The doors to the establishment were reportedly locked at the time. However, the door was pushed open by a burglar.

The stolen items include custom-made leather belts, collars and bracelets valued at approximately $300. The pieces are stamped with “RW,” identifying them as RoseWolf Artisan Goods, making them distinctive and more easily recognizable if they are sold or pawned, the business said.

The business is working to install cameras and increase security measures to, hopefully, decrease the likelihood of this happening again.

Anyone with information about the burglary or the location of the missing items should contact the Red River Marshal’s Office.
