Athlete Spotlight: Diego Ortega
12th grade, 17 years old, Pulling Guard & Middle Linebacker in Football, Baseball and Track

Achievements: Team Captain, All State Linebacker in 2025 – All District Offense and Defense in 2024 and 2025 and currently leads the state in our division in tackles and had 126 tackles in the 2025 season
Hero/role model: “My sister, Mariana, who never gives up and does her best in anything she puts her mind to.”
Why do you love it: “The competition and the excitement of the games.”
Other Stuff: “I like to hang out with family and friends and work.”

Taos Little League All Star Team for baseball.”
