Summer Is Coming… and So Are the Dinosaurs!
Guess what, Questa? Summer is coming! Before we can even say sunburn or ice cream, it’ll be here… and so will our Summer Reading Program!
This year’s theme is “UNEARTH A STORY,” and we’re digging into it—literally! Dinosaurs are the stars of the show, and our brand‑new mascot, Digby the Dino, is already stomping around the library, helping us plan an adventure-filled June for our young readers.
Who doesn’t love dinosaurs? Kids, adults, grandparents, the FedEx guy—everyone loves a giant, friendly creature with big feet and tiny arms. With Digby leading the way, we’ll explore fossils, ancient critters, and stories that take us waaay back in time. And yes—tons of new books are coming to the shelves for our Questa kids to discover.
June is shaping up to be packed
with activities:
Want to donate snacks or supplies to keep our little explorers energized?
If you’re nodding your head right now—give us a shout! We’d love your help.
We’ve been creating the Summer Reading Program for so many years we’ve lost count (seriously, we tried). But every single summer reminds us why we do it: the giggles, the discoveries, the piles of books, and the joy of spending time with Questa’s awesome kids.
We can’t wait to make this the best Summer Reading Program yet.
So…grab your shovels, your curiosity, and your sense of adventure—
Let’s unearth something amazing together!
Dino crafts
Storytimes
“Fossil digs” (the pretend kind… probably)
Old favorites mixed with brand‑new surprises
But here’s the real secret to Summer Reading magic: YOU.
Every year, our community makes this program shine brighter than a T‑Rex tooth in the sun.
We have a few questions for you, Questa:
Got a fun idea for a performance or activity for kids ages 4 to 10‑ish?
Know a dinosaur fact or two? Or twenty?
Want to help out during activities?
