From the Librarian’s Desk
Have you noticed a new smile at the library desk? Welcome Kate Mann to our library staff! Kate joined us in June as an Assistant Librarian.
Kate moved to the Questa area in 2011 and became a regular library visitor. There was no internet service in Lama at that time, so the Questa Library became a regular stop for Kate to keep in touch with the world. As a talented singer-songwriter, Kate began performing for library functions early on.
We lost touch with Kate as internet service improved and she established her music career in Taos. It’s great to have her back here. She brings with her a love of reading a variety of subjects and a heart for helping all of us have a better day. Kate talks of her new position with the Questa Library as her “dream job,” and someday hopes to ride one of her horses to work. Please visit the Questa Public Library soon and meet Kate!
