Who Visits Questa Every August?

A lot of people, every year, for the Questa Art Tour! This year we got more coverage and publicity from magazines and newspapers throughout New Mexico than ever before. Our tour attracted nearly 700 visitors who love art. Despite ongoing economic and political uncertainties, reported sales exceeded last summer’s by $15,000, totaling approximately $52,000.

Refer to these charts to find out where our visitors came from and how the tour economically benefitted your artistic friends, family, and neighbors!

Ceramic Cafe is back!
The Art Room and Questa’s Youth & Family center will again be alive with clay artistry every Thursday evening from 5 to 9 p.m. from Oct. 9 through November 20. This is a FREE open studio for all ages, so you may come and go within those hours as you please. You can be self-guided, or get help from host and expert ceramicist, Anna. All abilities are welcome, from newbies to experts. Clay, tools and other materials are provided, as well as glazing and firing! (If you plan a large volume of work, we ask that you pay for your clay). Please note any kids under age 12 must have an accompanying adult.

Find more information at QuestaCreative.org. You may contact ceramicist Anna Fuenning at (403) 525-7485 or leave a message at (575) 586-5658 orl questacreativecouncil@gmail.com.
