By EMMA ARGUELLO
My name is Emma Arguello, and I am the historian and reporter for the Questa Achievers 4-H Club.
Our club has lots of community service projects planned for this year. On Apr. 18, we worked with our local library to distribute stuffed animals for first responders. These stuffed animals will be given to children to help comfort them during difficult times.
We also set up fishing line trash bins at Eagle Rock Lake to help keep birds and other wildlife from getting tangled or hurt. In the future, we plan to help our local food pantry and do something special for our veterans.
The Questa Achievers would like to thank all of our supporters and 4-H leaders, the Cerro VFW, Questa Lumber, the Questa Library, and our dads for helping with our projects.
We are excited to do these activities and serve our community. A special thank you to our First Responders, the Forest Service, and our Veterans!
Emma Arguello is 10 years old and serves as the Questa Achievers 4-H historian.
