The Questa Ladycats wrapped up a successful season with a 14-6 record and third place at the Cimarron Tournament. Even though we were ranked in the top 12 most of the season, we came up just shy of making the state playoffs, with a #13 ranking. The Questa Ladycats ranked second in District 5-2A.
We are very proud of the work and dedication that these girls put in, starting in late July. We did not play last year due to COVID-19, but came back strong and gave it our all!
Three volleyball athletes were given All-District accolades, excelling throughout the season in a district with Mora, Peñasco, McCurdy, Mesa Vista, and Escalante. At the coach’s meeting held on November 7, 2021, nominations were made for these awards. This year we had Leah Martinez (setter/outside hitter), Annaliese Rivera (outside hitter and middleblocker), and Araceli Gónzalez (libero). Congratulations to these girls for their hard work throughout the season!
