A Stitch In Time: Questa Quilters Wrap Up Another Raffle

The Questa Quilters raffled off their latest masterpiece on March 20, drawing admiration from all who saw it. This year’s quilt was not only handmade and hand-quilted—it was also entirely hand-embroidered. One can only wonder how many thousands of stitches went into creating such a detailed and spectacular work of art!

The quilters behind this project have a long history of collaboration and craft. Far more than a hobby group, the Questa Quilters are keepers of a valuable cultural tradition. Their work blends patience, precision, and artistic vision—and the results speak for themselves. Some members have been stitching together for more than 35 years, building strong friendships at the same time. Over the years, the group has quietly and consistently improved the quality of life for the Questa community, donating proceeds from their annual raffles to local causes and community needs.

The quilters meet every Monday and Wednesday morning from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Questa Youth Center. Their gatherings are open to the community, offering a welcoming space where creativity and connection thrive. Plans are already underway for their next quilt, with fabrics being considered and designs taking shape. Stop by to observe, ask questions, or even join in. Whether you’re an experienced quilter or a complete beginner, the group is happy to share their knowledge and love of quilting.

Be sure to keep an eye out for the next raffle—and don’t miss your chance to own a one-of-a-kind quilt stitched with love, care, and the unmistakable spirit of Questa.
