The local BestCare Pharmacy appeared before the New Mexico Board of Pharmacy for a disciplinary hearing in mid-July.
The Pharmacy Board confirmed the matter is currently under legal review to determine appropriate next steps. The board said it will notify the pharmacy of its decision within 90 days.
It remains unclear what prompted the disciplinary hearing, as meeting minutes detailing the proceedings have not been posted to the board’s website.
Despite the pending review, BestCare Pharmacy remains active on social media, continuing to promote its services to rural New Mexico residents.
