In 1975, “Happy Days” and “The Mary Tyler Moore Show” lit up television screens, Bill Gates launched a new company called “Micro-Soft,” and bell bottoms were so wide they often got caught in car doors.
Those memories — and many more — will be front and center as the Questa High School Class of 1975 gathers to celebrate its 50-year reunion this fall.
The reunion will take place at the Monte Carlo in Questa. Festivities begin Saturday, Sept. 27, with a dinner and dance. A class breakfast will follow on Sunday, Sept. 28.
1975 had one of the largest graduating classes in Questa High School history, with 82 graduates.
Reunion organizers include Dicky Joseph Leon, Bernie Jaramillo, Jimmy Baca, Laura Vallejos and Reyna Ortega. A $50 registration fee is required to attend. Memory boards honoring deceased classmates will also be displayed.
Payments can be deposited at the Questa Credit Union under the “Class of 1975” account or mailed to: P.O. Box 500, Questa, NM 87556.
