Get ready, Questa! The countdown is on, less than a month to go until “Kick it in Questa 2025” takes over the Questa Molycorp Field on Saturday and Sunday, August 23 and 24! This two-day community celebration will be filled with friendly competition, local vendors, and live entertainment.
Matthew Rael, event creator and organizer, is spearheading the event and has been working hard this past month gathering sponsors, marketing the event, and spreading the word to those near and far. “We officially have our band for the first night, Northern Revolution. More and more community members are reaching out to get involved. As of right now, our main focus is getting our event out there with more marketing and promotion, along with getting teams organized for the tournament,” says Rael.
What started as a college project has turned into a huge community effort designed to bring back the kind of vibrant family fun he remembers from growing up here. So, what’s in store?
First and foremost, a co-ed community kickball tournament for youth (ages 12-17), adults (18+). Little ones will enjoy activities in the Kids’ Zone featuring bounce houses, face painting, and crafts. Foodies can indulge in local treats from vendors and you can find unique treasures from crafts booths.
“Kick it in Questa 2025” isn’t just an event; it’s a celebration of community spirit, designed to create lasting memories. “I invite everyone to come out, participate, and enjoy a weekend of community pride,” Rael shares with enthusiasm.
Don’t miss out on one of the highlights of Questa’s summer! Stay tuned to local news and social media for more details on registration and the full entertainment lineup.
