DJ’s Yard is a diverse business offering painting services, fencing, flooring, remodeling, house cleaning, lawn care, landscaping, drywall, woodwork, demolition, and snow removal.

DJ’S Yard has been in operation since 2019. The owner, DJ Mandonado, says he has been working for four years and just recently started advertising the businesses services in an effort to grow and expand his venture into a full-time job.

DJ is always looking for ways to serve the community, or as he sees it, he gives when people need a helping hand. “I’ve always been one to want to help which is why I decided to join the fire department.” For Halloween, DJ decided to purchase dozens of pumpkins and hand them out to kids in Questa.
“Now that I am a business owner, I have found that I am able to take matters into my own hands and make things happen. I think our community needs community members who help each other, not just people who live in the same town.”

Additionally, DJ recognizes that elderly residents in Questa may not be able to clear snow from their driveways. “Of course, everyone likes to make money running a business but sometimes, taking a quick 30 minutes out of your day to help someone out who can’t afford it or can’t do it on their own, that is worth more than money.”

Born and raised in Questa, DJ is proud that he is able to give back to his community, not only by running a business in town, but by investing in his community. “If there is anything I want people to know about what I do with my business and otherwise, it’s pretty simple. We take pride in our work and will do whatever it takes to make our customers happy. We prioritize our customer and employee safety at every job.”
