Harvest Questa, an Assemblies of God church, has changed its name to Freedom Center Church. “Church for the rest of us!”
For the past five years, Harvest Questa was the “daughter” church of Harvest Fellowship, in Albuquerque, NM. As of October 31, it began transitioning to a “sister” church, as they are now serving our community without needing to rely on resources or financial support from another church.
Since June 2017, Harvest Questa has been led by Pastor Kristi Gonzales and her husband, Associate Pastor Johnny Gonzales. Both Kristi and Johnny are happy to remain as pastors. They are looking forward with excitement to this change, which makes room for the members to offer themselves to the overall growth of this local church and community.
“The new name reflects our freedom from the attitudes, facades, and the religious pharisees found in many churches. The new name is also a declaration that in the power of Jesus we are free! We are free from the strongholds of addiction, depression, and hopelessness. We are free from the heaviness of sin and oppression. We are free to live a life that abounds and brings glory to God. All are free to come to Freedom Center Church to hear the gospel, and to experience hope,” says Pastor Kristi.

Upcoming Freedom Center Church Events:
Dec. 31 from 6 pm to midnight—New Year’s Eve Praise Party, all ages invited to join us for a fun night with cool people, delicious food, games, music, and a movie. Children are welcome to attend with a supervising adult.
Sunday, January 9—After the service at 11 am, Freedom Church will celebrate its Grand Opening with a celebration lunch.
February 14, 5:30 – 8:30 pm—Kids Night Out, where kids ditch the parents and join the free fun. Mark your calendar for an evening of games, food, and prizes. Adults with cleared background checks will be hosting all the fun activities.
