Antonio Benito Rael (Ben), 96 years old, of Taos, NM passed away peacefully on October 26, 2022. He is preceded in death by parents the late, Jose Antonio and Estrella Quintana Rael of Questa, NM, five brothers, Rodolfo, Alfonso, Jacobo, Jose R (Lolo) and Frederico Rael (Lico), two sisters, Eva (Chris) Gallegos and Eufelia (Louis) Ortiz, an infant son, James Daniel Rael and one grandson, Kevin Miller. He is survived by his spouse of 75 years, Evangeline Medina Rael, five children, Antonio Ben Rael Jr. (Rose), Lillian Miller, Daniel L Rael (Pat), Ann Rael and Joseph Rael, nine grandchildren, Theresa Moseley (Carl), Donna Lucero (Sean, deceased), Ann Gutierrez, Adrian Rael, Justin (Tina) Rael, John (Phyllis), Mark (Aida) Miller, Felipe (Jacque) and Juan Rael (Gina), eighteen great grandchildren, Serena, Hadley Mosely, Tegan, Caiden Lucero, Gabriel, Ian Gutierrez, Ryan Rael, Logan, Aria Rael, Reagan, Warren Miller, Huxley, Hadley Miller, Carlos, Mateo Miller, Benson, Lewis Rael and Gabriella Rael, one great great grandchild, Harper Menke, brother, Gustavo (Aurora) Rael, numerous godchildren, other relatives and friends.

Public viewing was held on October 30, 2022 from 5:00-6:00 pm at Our Lady of Guadalupe followed by Holy Rosary. Funeral mass was celebrated on Monday October 31, 2022 at 10:00 am. Both services were held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Taos, NM. Interment was on November 01, 2022 at 10:00 am at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
