Arthur W. Sanchez, 75, of Questa, New Mexico, passed away on Saturday, March 22, in Silver City, New Mexico. Arthur spent most of his career as a skilled heavy equipment operator at Molycorp Mine and later founded a successful construction business specializing in roofing and excavation.

He is survived by his sister, Novella Herrera (Gabriel Herrera) and his three beloved children: Chris Sanchez (Elsa Sanchez), Russ Sanchez (Heather Gallegos), and Lora Sanchez (Alex Trujillo). Niece and nephews include: Danielle Fernandez, Daniel Sanchez, Paul Sanchez, and Manny Sanchez. Arthur’s legacy continues through his six grandchildren: Zachary Sanchez, David Coats, Hannah Sanchez, Camila Valdez, Laurel Sanchez, and Lilly Sanchez, who adored him.

Arthur was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Amada Sanchez, and his brother, Manuel Sanchez. He will be fondly remembered for his charismatic personality and the love he shared with family and friends..
