Denise Lynn Blanco, a resident of Taos and Questa, born June 23, 1973, went to be with the Lord on March 21, 2025 peacefully, with her son by her side.

Denise is survived by her father, Roger Blanco, Sr; son Joey Mares; sole and life partner Manuel Archuleta; brothers Roger Blanco Jr, Robert H. Blanco (Rona), Jeremy K. Blanco, and Aaron R. Blanco; granddaughters Antonia and Neveah; many nephews and two nieces.

Denise loved her arts and crafts, nieces, and nephews. She was a caregiver, where she passionately loved and cared for the elderly and neighborhood children. Denise loved music and was a prolific writer of poems and thoughts. Free, free at last. May she rest in peace.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2025 at 11 a.m. at Freedom Center Church, Questa, NM, and burial will follow at the Gomez Cemetery in Cerro, NM.
