  • that everyone in this special community works together to create visible, tidy, cared-for, attractiveness in our Village!
  • that our youth are never at a loss for what to do, when artistic activities await!
  • that Questa’s historic diversity continues to be honored in our growing population!
  • that we learn each other’s many talents and skills and learn to respect what we each bring to the table as our post-mining future develops!
  • that the Creative Council gains a headquarters/gallery space site in downtown!
  • that Questa continues to grow its reputation as a creative, artistic place to live or visit, surrounded (and made up of) much beauty!

Art Kits for Kids Distribution

It was a fabulous holiday art material drive. Thanks to your donations, the Questa Creative Council was able to give out over $1,600 worth of fun, FREE creative art materials to local youth on December 18 through 21. Thanks also goes out to the Questa Public Library for providing the space and distributing the goodies. Art materials included acrylic paint sets, canvases, brushes, watercolor sets, watercolor paper, sketchbooks, oil pastels, crayons, and sidewalk chalk. Again, thank you for helping us make this a colorful holiday season
