Local vendors and artisans filled the Questa VFW on Saturday, December 9, for the 2023 Alumbra de Questa Holiday Market.
They brought their finest handmade and handcrafted products to offer local shoppers in advance of the Christmas holiday.
Vendors offered unique, high-quality gifts of painted artwork, ceramics, hand-carved/hand-tooled wooden furniture and fixtures, handmade leather bags, belts, and accessories, jewelry, Christmas wreaths and decorations, and even homemade eco-friendly fabric Christmas bags to use in lieu of disposable wrapping paper.
Organizers say this year had record participation from local vendors. The Questa Ladies Auxiliary was also present selling food to event-goers. Questa Creative Council Board Chair Alberta Bouyer shares “the quality and variety of gift merchandise was impressive, and all the vendors cooperated to make the venue welcoming and fun. The QCC really enjoyed getting to know more of our talented neighbors.”
