It was a big month for Questa’s track & field athletes, starting with sophomore Alyse Lovato bringing home two first-place medals in the Girls High Jump and Girls Triple Jump. She also scored second place in the 400-meter dash, bringing home a silver medal and was rated as the second highest individual female scorer in the 2A division.

The following students also placed for the following categories:

• Freshman Jacovo Cardenas came in 9th for boys Javelin Throw
• Junior Jacob Vallejos came in 8th for the boys 300-meter Hurdles
• Junior Alianna Gonzalez came in 5th in the girls Triple Jump
• Junior Aliyah Santistevan came in 6th in the girls Javelin Throw
• Junior Kamryn Cardenas came in 9th for girls Shotput
• Senior Antonio Romero came in 12th for boys Triple Jump

Additionally, the Questa High School girls and boys teams both came in seventh place for the girls and boys 4 x 100 meter relay in division 2A.
