The second item on the agenda was approval of gas mileage reimbursement for public officials.
The third item on the agenda on the agenda was an update from Village Clerk Renee Martinez and Attorney Samuel DeFillippo regarding a business plan for 8K Cannabis, for the Questa Business Park. The verdict is that the funding source for the park, the U. Economic Development Association, cannot support a cannabis business as it is a federal agency and cannabis remains a federally prohibited substance under the national Controlled Substances Act.
The fourth item on the agenda was a discussion on fundraising for a potential skate park for Questa youth.
Mayor Gallegos ended the meeting to announce a Village employee luncheon at El Monte Carlo restaurant to show appreciation for all public employees. See related QEDF story on page 4.
