Red River Brewing Company & Distillery announced the grand opening of the Red River Distillery Tasting Room, located at 619 E. Main Street in Red River. The announcement came via press release and social media posts on December 16.

“We’ve created a cozy and inviting space where customers can sample our award-winning lineup of craft spirits made right here in Red River, including vodka, gin, whiskey, rum, bourbon, rye whiskey and sotol,” stated Sharon Calhoun, owner and operations manager at Red River Brewing Company & Distillery.
Customers can sample any of the spirits made at the distillery on Main Street in Red River, additionally they can purchase bottles of their favorites to take home or give as gifts for their friends and family. “We are proud to open our tasting room and invite everyone to come and taste our products. We hope to provide a memorable and enjoyable experience for our customers and become a destination for locals and tourists alike,” Sharon says.

Red River Distillery’s master distiller Gavin Whealy says he is thrilled to share his passion for craft spirits with the community. “We’re one of the highest elevation distilleries in the world. The low atmospheric pressure up here means we distill at relatively low temperatures, which makes for very smooth and mellow flavor profiles. Plus, as everyone knows, the Red River water we use is really, really good.”
The tasting room will be open every day from 1 to 8 p.m. and will offer craft cocktails, a bottle shop, and gifts.
