Summer Reading Program Wraps Up


Questa’s community came together this summer to celebrate stories, imagination, and adventure during the annual Summer Reading Program (SRP). With the theme “Color Our World,” the program offered a blend of creativity, learning, and entertainment that captivated readers of all ages.

Attendance & Participation

Community engagement was fantastic, and enthusiasm reached an all-time high:
• Registered readers: 46
• Total participation (including performers, staff, volunteers, and parents): 502

Activities & Events

Highlights from this year’s SRP included:
Meeting local truckers and learning about their rigs!
A heartfelt thank you to Tyler from Latir Fire, Sergio, Tommy from Kit Carson, Dave from Entact, Questa Officers Keith and Anthony, Paul and the Carson National Forest team (with two trucks!), Daniel and Greg from Questa EMS, Tony from Questa Fire, Justine from Mountain Range Supply, “Shorty” with the big rig, Adrienne and Michael from Kit Carson, and Jay with “The Thing” (not a truck, but absolutely cool!).
