The Cerro-Questa Friendship Circle (CQFC) invites new members to join their group. Since 1999, members have been able to pay yearly dues and be part of the CQFC. This group is made up of dedicated volunteers providing funeral meals for families in their time of need, offering a comforting presence and a helping hand during a difficult period.
The CQFC is more than just a volunteer group—it’s a community of neighbors coming together to care for one another.
Dues are $30 per family for local residents and $50 for out-of-town supporters. The dues cover children until the age of 22 if they are attending college. You can send your contribution to CQFC, PO Box 1062, Questa, NM 87556 if you wish to be a member.
The group is also looking for volunteers to help with cooking, setting up, serving, and cleaning up after funeral meals. While there are currently 5-6 cooking groups, the greatest need is for assistance with cleanup.
If you are interested in becoming a member or volunteering, please attend their next meeting. during the last week of October where new officers will be elected. Look for the specific date and time to be posted throughout town.
Joining the Cerro-Questa Friendship Circle is a meaningful way to ensure that your family doesn’t have to worry about providing a meal for loved ones. Come be a part of this vital group and help carry on this tradition of compassion and support.
