English poetry is always stiff & proper
Complexity demands a show stopper.
It’s no crime to converse with Oneself
If answered you may end on the Shelf.
Long before Social Media & Internet
They actually wrote & read for Content.
Penmanship & Calligraph are Hell Bent
Back then snail mail only cost A Cent.
In the golden days & dreams Del Rio
Hand written letters for a True Amio.
May it be a simple sounding Rhyme
Back through ‘not to be’ Lost in Time.
