Musica en la Montana: August 11-14

Awakening Productions, along with La Llave Music Group, TEX Sound, Freddie Records, Village of Questa and many more sponsors are offering a four-day event, Musica en la Montana, with many talented musical artists from New Mexico, Colorado, and Texas, Thursday, Aug. 11 – Sunday, Aug 14.

Musica en la Montana will offer workshops during the day for musical artists of all levels and talents. Classes will include music distribution, marketing, radio play, webpage design and the making of professional music videos.

There will also be jam sessions, allowing musicians to mix and mingle, while sharing ideas and talent with each other. Musicians will have the opportunity to showcase their talents at two FREE concerts, Friday and Saturday night, August 12 and 13, 5–10 p.m., in Questa.

Musicians attending this event can help build a community and strengthen our fine Spanish music industry. Awakening Productions embraces and enhances the tradition and heritage of Spanish music and culture. It was created by musician Daniel Cordova to express desperta mi gente, awakening my people. Musica en la Montana aims to bring unity, support, and cooperation among musicians in the Spanish music community. “We must come together, be on the same page and have openness and support for each other.”
