We are excited to announce the publication of a new children’s book by local author, Gabrielle Herbertson and Taos artist, Lynn Garlick. Gabrielle, of the El Rito area north of Questa, is best known for her brilliant poetry and as co-editor of Earth Journey I and II by Herman Rednick, and other works.

Lynn Garlick is well known for her “pocket saint” and larger retablos, which she has been painting and sharing since 1993. See her work at www.garlickretablos.com.

We will have a more extensive article about the book, which will include interviews, in our December issue to help celebrate the Winter Solstice. Watch for announcements of a book signing event in December. In the meantime, please do your Christmas shopping early!
