The New Mexico State Police (NMSP) issued a press release cataloging their statewide arrests, traffic citations, and commercial vehicle inspections last year.
In 2023, the NMSP issued:
121 felony arrests
296 misdemeanor arrests
167 DWI arrests
12,267 traffic citations issued
9,230 commercial motor vehicles inspected
“Keeping our communities and roadways safe is one of the New Mexico State Police’s top priorities,” said Chief of the New Mexico State Police Troy Weisler. “As we welcome 2024, we will continue to offer the same dedication, commitment, and high level of service the citizens of New Mexico have come to expect from us.”
