Dorothy “Cece” Martinez, loving wife, mother, nana, daughter, sister, aunt and friend was called home to be with our Lord on April 11, 2023.
Cece was preceded in death by her son, Joseph Martinez; father, Frank Ortega; brother, Frank Ortega Jr.; mother-in-law, Juanita Martinez; brothers-in-law Tony Santistevan and David Leon; grandparents, Melecio and Victoria Sandoval, and Efren and Ursulita Ortega; aunts, Lorena Vigil, Teresa Marquez, Martha Atencio, Alice and MaryAnn Sandoval; uncles, Lucas and Jose Sandoval, Andrew Mondragon, Larry Marquez, Jake and Manuel Ortega.
Cece is survived by her husband, Michael Martinez; son, Melecio, daughter-in-law Janet Martinez; mother Irene Ortega; sisters-in-law Glenda Ortega, Diana Duran, Marbella Leon, and Yolanda Archuleta; brother-in-law Manny Martinez (Wendy); sisters JoAna Montoya and Dolores (Joe) Sheffer; grandchildren Juaquin, Joseph III, Cece, Aalyiah and Trinity; aunts and uncles, Edith (Tom) Steele, Dennis (Eva) Sandoval, Steve Vigil, Jenny Mondragon, Bea Perea, Lorena Ortega; father-in-law Romulo Martinez; and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorial Service was held Friday, April 28, 2023, 11 am at Living Word in Questa.
