Red River is gearing up to host the annual Vino in the Valley festival from June 13 to 15, bringing together a diverse mix of artists, winemakers, and musicians from across New Mexico and West Texas.

The festival promises a packed weekend of events set against the backdrop of Red River’s scenic Brandenburg Park. Highlights include an artists’ market, wine tastings and winemaker panels, interactive art workshops, and live performances — including national acts like American Idol finalist Casey James and northern New Mexico icon Chris Arellano.

Also debuting this year is Radiant Reflections, a community photo competition featuring local perspectives, public voting, and cash prizes. Organizers emphasize the event’s regional reach, featuring vendors and talent from Las Cruces, El Paso, Albuquerque, Amarillo, and beyond.

Festival organizers are also seeking volunteers. Those who sign up for just one shift will receive free weekend admission, a souvenir wine glass, and 50% off festival merchandise — a package valued at more than $67.
