Parishioners of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church are selling raffle tickets to raise money to build a new rectory, the living quarters where priests who serve St. Anthony’s Catholic Church reside.
“We are fundraising to help pay the expenses for building the rectory,” said parishioner Louise Gallegos in a telephone interview with Questa del Rio News.
According to Gallegos, the parish is hosting a raffle with tickets expected to be drawn in early June, corresponding with the Feast Day of St. Anthony, the patron saint of the church.
Anyone who is interested in purchasing a raffle ticket or simply donating to the St. Anthony Parish can contact Louise Gallegos at (575) 613-5490 or visit Cynthia Rael-Vigil at Rael’s Coffee Shop. Cynthia can be reached at (575) 779-9249.
