The Red River Brewing Company (RRBC) hosts a monthly ‘Hops for Happiness’ program, aimed at raising money for local causes. During the month of May, RRBC donated $720 to Enchanted Circle Regional Fire Protection Association (ECRFPA).
ECRFPA is a nonprofit organization, representing 22 county and municipal fire departments in north central New Mexico, including Red River, Taos, and Angel Fire. The ECRFPA provides training, equipment, and mutual aid to its members, as well as fire prevention and education to the public.
Red River Fire Chief Deke Willis says, “We are grateful for the generous donation from Red River Brewing Company & Distillery. It helps us all do our jobs better and serve our communities more effectively.”
RRBC owner Michael Calhoun, says in part, “This program is an opportunity for non-profit organizations to raise funds and for us to help our community thrive.”
