Taos County has kicked off the planning process for an update to the county’s Comprehensive Plan. As part of the planning process, the county’s hired consultant, Consensus Planning, has created a community survey that asks a wide range of questions regarding the future of Taos County and community aspirations related to quality of life, employment, growth and development, transportation and infrastructure, and housing, among other topics.

The results of the community survey will be analyzed and provide direction for the preparation of the Taos County Comprehensive Plan. The community survey is available in both English and Spanish.
Hard copies of the community survey are available at Taos County Administration Complex, The Village of Questa Village Office, and Family Dollar in Penasco. The survey will need to be completed by citizens by March 31, 2024.
