It didn’t take long for Active8 with the Vida del Norte Coalition to spring into action, hosting a community dinner, with support from the LOR Foundation. Residents from northern Taos County communities gathered at the Questa VFW on Sunday, December 17 to enjoy a meal together before the holidays commenced. Organizer Maria Gonzalez says, “we had a great turnout! Thank you all for coming out and allowing our youth to give of themselves this time of year.”

The Vida del Norte Coalition is a group created to prevent substance misuse among northern Taos County’s youth. To learn more about their work or to learn about upcoming events, visit vidadelnorte.com
