I am excited and humbled to be offered the opportunity to be the Questa Junior-Senior High School principal. I am looking forward to meeting and working with the faculty and staff, students, parents, and community members.
I taught and coached in Texas for 15 years. I taught health, PE, computers, special education, math intervention lab, and coached cross country, basketball, track, and tennis. I then moved into administration and worked as a high school/middle school assistant principal and middle school principal for a total of ten years. I have always been at small schools and enjoy the opportunity to get to know the teachers, kids, and community members.

For the last three years, I have been in Pecos, New Mexico. I taught two years of middle school PE and this past year I was the high school SPED teacher and case manager. I have shed some tears due to leaving the students and staff, but I am excited about the opportunity to get to know new students and staff.

My hobbies include sports, photography, arts and crafts, travel, cooking, and hanging out with family and friends.
I have two adult children and six (yes 6!) granddaughters. We will be having our first boy in November. My children were involved in all types of sports while in school and now my grandchildren are continuing the tradition. My husband and I are celebrating our 6th wedding anniversary this month. We had a fun ceremony at a wedding chapel in Vegas with Elvis and many of our family members able to attend.

I am looking forward to a great year!
