Locals Can Fly to New Popular Destinations from Taos Airport

Taos Regional Airport is expanding its options to those who want to get out of town, on a JetSuiteX, Inc. 30-seat aircraft. Earlier this year, JSX Air announced that direct flights to and from Denver and Las Vegas were available, and now, starting on December 9, the air carrier has expanded its options to include Austin, Burbank, Carlsbad, and Dallas. Flights are as low as $219 one-way.

According to a press release, JSX is dedicated to servicing smaller secondary airports with simplified service. JSX is also the only public charter air service to the Taos Regional Airport, providing a new category of crowd-free air travel for all this holiday ski season.

Customers can check in just 20 minutes before their flight with advanced frictionless security and crowd-free dedicated hangars. JSX’s jets are equipped with business class spacious legroom, high-speed free in-flight Wi-Fi, in-seat power, and complimentary gourmet inflight snacks and beverages. Additionally, the air carrier states that skis and snowboards fly free!

The flights operate once per day, four days a week. A ticket purchase includes two checked bags (weight/ size restrictions apply).

“We’re excited to bring back some of our most requested and in-demand routes to and from Taos with JSX,” said Community Relations Manager for the Town of Taos John Rodriguez. “Taos is truly a place like no other and we’re ecstatic to create easier access for visitors who seek to connect with the rich culture and natural beauty of the southwest, while also providing more travel options for our local community.”

Outbound flights will go to Dallas Love Field in Dallas, TX; Denver/ Boulder Rocky Mountain Airport in Broomfield, CO; Austin Executive Airport in Pflugerville, TX; Las Vegas Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas, NV; Hollywood Burbank Airport in Burbank, CA; and Carlsbad McClellan-Palomar Airport in Carlsbad, CA.

“JSX is thrilled to return to Taos this winter, offering the region’s only regular air service to communities across America,” says JSX Chief Commercial Officer David Drabinsky. “We take pride in our ongoing commitment to the State of New Mexico and look forward to connecting travelers to the Enchanted Circle’s pristine skiing, fine arts and culture, and noteworthy cuisine.”
