OBITUARY: Joseph “Jojo” Adam Vigil

Joseph “Jojo” Adam Vigil
d. June 23, 2023

Joseph “Jojo” Adam Vigil, was born on January 28, 1980, and passed away peacefully after a brief illness to be with Our Lord Jesus Christ on June 23, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents, Antonio M. Vigil and Glenda M. Vallejos; his brother Jon Paul Blea; his paternal grandparents, Enrique and Frances Vigil; and his maternal grandparents, Pulidor and Ignacia Vallejos. He is survived by his brother Tony Vigil; his godson Paul Vallejos, Jr.; his goddaughter Raeann Baca; his niece Amya Blea, and nephew Joeseph Martinez; special cousins whom he loved like sisters and brothers, Phyllis Chacon, Judy Maes, Brenda Pacheco, Paul Eric Vallejos, Phil Fernandez, and Jerry Pacheco, Jr; many dear aunts and uncles, including Laura Vallejos, Geneva (Jerry) Pacheco, and Gus (Roberta) Vallejos, who were like second parents to him, several beloved cousins, and devoted friends. Jojo was a wonderful, kind, and loving person.

He would brighten any room he walked into and would always make people laugh. He was our family comedian.

He had a heart of gold and frequently helped those in need. He was employed by Wells Fargo for several years and considered his colleagues his second family. He enjoyed watching football and was a huge fan of the Green Bay Packers. His beautiful smile, his big bright eyes, sense of humor, and warm laughter will be greatly missed. At this time, we request continued prayers for his family and friends. Memorial services were on July 8, 2023 in Amalia, NM, RCCLA Canopy; July 13, 2023 at Calvary Westside in Albuquerque, and July 15, 2023 (Abundant Christian Fellowship) in Amalia, NM, followed by burial and celebration of Jojo’s life.
