Robbie Gallegos, age 42, a resident of Taos, passed away unexpectedly and gained his angel wings on October 14, 2023.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents Gil B. and Clorinda Gallegos; uncles Johnny and Dennis Gallegos; great-grandmother Eutilla Padilla; grandmother Tanny Quintana; and stepbrother Anthony Padilla Hutt.

Robbie was a kind and loving man who lived life to its fullest. Even though communication was very difficult, he found ways to express his love and compassion. He loved to eat, travel, and spend time with his friends. Robbie especially enjoyed golf, bowling, his computer, and watching TV. He loved his entire family dearly and will be deeply missed by everyone.

Robbie is survived by his parents, Jeff and Connie Padilla; stepsister Estrella Padilla; grandparents Gil and Margaret Gallegos; godmother Anita Hutt; uncle and aunts Wilfred and Melinda Garcia, and Brenda Struck; nieces Kendrah and Laylah Gomez; good friend Mikey Gurule; plus many other loving relatives and cherished friends.

Public visitation was held Monday October 23, 2023 at DeVargas Funeral Home of Taos. Rosary was recited on Wednesday October 25, at the same location, and funeral mass was held Thursday October 26, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Cerro, with burial following at the Cerro Cemetery.
