Congratulations to Darin Padilla and Armando Segura of Questa Independent Schools, who received the Ben Lujan Facility Manager of the Year Award for the 2024-25 school year! The award was given by the Public School Facility Authority, whose mission is partnering with New Mexico communities to provide quality, sustainable school facilities for our students and educators.

The awards were created to recognize New Mexico public school maintenance and operations staff and teams dedicated to maintaining quality facility conditions supporting their educational environments and the success of teachers, students, and communities. The awards, named in honor of the late Speaker of the House Ben R. Lujan, carry on his passion for the students of our state in acknowledging the hard work our maintenance/custodial staff perform on a daily basis to provide for educational facilities that are outstanding in form and function.
