Questa Agricultural Listening Round Table

We want to hear from you!

Dan Hobbs, the Cooperative Specialist for the Rocky Mountain Farmers Union will be facilitating an in-person community “Listening Session” around agriculture on Friday, March 24 at 4 pm. Sponsored by QEDF, the Village of Questa and Chevron. What do Questa area farmers and ranchers envision for the future of agriculture and food sustainability in our area?

Do you want an agricultural co-op, perhaps something with a consumer business hub? Would you like to develop sustainable local food systems, regenerate fallow lands, address food sovereignty, or work on “succession planning” for retiring farmers?

This is your opportunity to have your voice heard, to share your ideas, express your concerns, and help guide the direction of agriculture to invigorate and fortify our ag/ranching practices and heritage for the generations that follow.

For more information, contact Lynn Skall, lynn@questaedf.com or leave a message at (575) 586-2149 or Rocky Mountain Farmers Union https://rmfu.org/.
