New Mexico Earth Adobe, located in the north valley of Albuquerque, started its adobe yard in 1972; this year they celebrate their 50th year in operation! They are seeking someone like you to help for the 2022 adobe-making season.


Making the story of adobe in New Mexico a part of your life means you are one of the few who can truthfully recount the joys of working in the sun making mud bricks, and who can delight and baffle their friends with tales of their seasonal job making this iconic southwestern building material. And you’ll contribute to the earthen building tradition of New Mexico.


It might be a good starting place for you if you are interested in construction or design, to learn more about adobe. Hours are flexible, with full- and part-time options.
